From Germany there is a bad news for the world of the jump in general and for the German movement in particular. In fact, Severin Freund has again been severely injured in a knee and must say farewell to today's PyeongChang 2018 Olympic Games.

The 29-year-old Bavarian was injured yesterday during a training session at Oberstdorf, getting the crunch of the right knee cross.

In January 2016 he had to go under the heels to fix a disk hernia, so in the following spring he undertook a new intervention to cure a problem with an anecdote, having to observe several months of pause. So in 2017 the right knee was opened twice.
It will be seen whether Freund, after this long sequel to injuries, will return to the hugely popular jumper between 2012 and 2015.
