The jumper Japanese Daiki Ito has decided to put an early end to his season. The twenty-eight Japanese announced that it has long been plagued by pain in his left knee, probable real cause'' s absence in the Olympic race on Normal Hill.

Ito, a member of the winning team bronze medal in the team event in Sochi, does not want to take any risk and therefore opted for the forced stop, giving up the last few races of the World Cup and the World Championships in flight.
Its place within the Japanese team took from real Shohei Tochimoto, which adds to Noriaki Kasai, Reruhi Shimizu, Yuta Watase and Taku Takeuchi.
