The sled season ended in the storm of Sankt Moritz. The German won the World Cup resisting the return of compatriot Taubitz (double blue top ten with Oberhofer and Hofer), due to the weather conditions the team relay test was canceled.

The curtain falls on the toboggan season in the blizzard in Switzerland. The return of Sankt Moritz to the World Cup was seasoned by a very difficult final day; if yesterday's men's race was conditioned by the deterioration of the track, what happened today in the women's context is not even comparable.
A heavy snowfall fell on the Engadine locality during the first run and significantly altered the values in the field, with the intensification of the same which greatly penalized the strongest of the circuit who started after the 16th bib. The only ones to contain the damage were Dajana Eitberger, in the fourth place, and Julia Taubitz. The latter, which started today with the albeit remote possibility of ousting Natalie Geisenberger from the leadership of the cup, recovered in the second heat to reach a second final place which, however, was not enough to overtake her compatriot in the standings today. 13th, which resumes the path interrupted for maternity last year and hits its eighth crystal ball. Legendary.
The most benefited by the weather conditions is the Latvian Elena Vitola, who hits a historic victory and ends a fantastic weekend for the Baltics after yesterday's double in the double race, while the third step of the podium is occupied by the other surprise of the day, the young Swiss Natalie Maag. For Italy an excellent performance for Marion Oberhofer and Verena Hofer, respectively eighth and tenth, while Andrea Voetter concludes in 17th place.
The heavy snow then led to the cancellation of the relay team event, after having tried anyway to compete in the competition by first dropping the US team and then the Romanian one. Specialty World Cup which then goes to Germany.
