With the fourth podium in five specialty races, the Italian team relay jumped to the top of the sledging World Cup ranking dedicated to the discipline, after the appointment in Winterberg.
On the German gut, the Azzurri placed second behind Russia, with an excellent Sandra Robatscher on the return, together with Dominik Fischnaller and the double formed by Rieder-Kainzwaldner. And next weekend in Koenigssee everything will be decided, where Dominik Fischnaller himself will duel with Roman Repilov for the absolute crystal ball in the men's single.
On Sunday, Russia also made full haul in the doubles (without the Germans Eggert-Benecken and Wendl-Artl fighting for the cup, but who did not compete for the known protests related to ice conditions), with the crew consisting of Denisev-Antonov who dominated ahead of the Latvian Gudramovics-Kalnins by over 6 tenths. Sixth place instead for Emanuel Rieder and Simon Kainzwaldner, with Rieder-Rastner in the top ten and the young Nagler-Malleier eleventh.
