Luge: Yanqing pre-Olympic will be recovered in St. Moritz

The Luge World Cup returns to Switzerland after nine years.

FIL has announced that the World Cup finals, as well as pre-Olympic competitions, initially scheduled on the Chinese gut of Yanqing, will be resumed in St. Moritz, Switzerland, from 5 to 7 February 2021. After the European Juniors in 2019 and the Youth Olympic Games in 2020, the location in the Upper Engladin will host another very important event in the world of sledding. The Luge World Cup in Switzerland had been missing for nine years, when a stage was held in St. Moritz between 28 and 29 January 2012. Originally the stage was supposed to take place in China but, due to problems due to restrictions for those coming from abroad, it was decided to postpone the appointment on the pre-Olympic track to autumn 2021, when the national teams will have the possibility of carrying out tests along the "National Sliding Center" of Yanqing.
