Next spring, the Roman champion, two-time Olympic medalist in speed skating in Beijing 2022, will give birth to her firstborn. The long-term goal remains Milano Cortina 2026.

We have seen her skip the first stages of the speed skating World Cup, now Francesca Lollobrigida has clearly explained the reasons that will keep her in the pits for the entire 2022/23 season.
The blue, silver and bronze star at the last Beijing 2022 Olympic Games, as well as Italy's flag bearer at the closing ceremony, announced her pregnancy which is already in the fifth month. Around April, therefore, Francesca will become a mother for the first time: we will see her again in action probably already at the beginning of the 2023/24 year, with the long-term goal remaining the Olympic participation at home, in Milan Cortina 2026 to assault the gold already touched in China.
