Idre Fjaell hosted a weekend, with a double race after qualifying on Friday, which launches the great protagonists of world ski cross towards Beijing 2022.
The last stage of the World Cup before the five-circle review saw, once again, Sandra Naeslund dominating in an impressive way: today the ninth victory in ten seasonal races, beating the French Jade Grillet Aubert (already third yesterday) and the Austrian Katrin Ofner, while the other Swedish Alexandra Edebo was unable to repeat the podium finishing fourth. And she touched another final, like Saturday when she then concluded at the foot of the podium, an excellent Jole Galli who then won the small final for a 5th place that gives great confidence to the Livigno towards China.
Final at the photo finish instead in the men's encore match, but it is a double for Ryan Regez who, this time, has adjusted to measure the host David Mobaerg, with Francois Place third and the blues far away again. Best placement this time for Edoardo Zorzi, 20th, with Simone Deromedis 25th, Federico Tomasoni 31st, Dominik Zuech 35th and Yanick Gunsch 38th.
