The Swedish champion, returning after almost a year of hiatus, signs an extraordinary feat in Idre Fjall. Among the men first world title for the Swiss Alex Fiva: far blues.

Simply legendary. Sandra Naeslund writes a page of skicross history, winning the second world title of an incredible career on the snow at home in Idre Fjall. And he does so by returning to the race after almost a year of stoppage: first in Wednesday's qualifying, where he had already hinted that he could play it all right, then today in the decisive runs for the champion, giving life to a colossal challenge with Fanny Smith.
The Swiss, a big favorite on the eve, has to settle for the silver medal, while the great rival signs an encore after Sierra Nevada 2017 and is moved after the arrival. Bronze for France with Alizee Baron.
The men's race, on the other hand, saw the Swiss take home the gold with a veteran who crowns the dream of a career: Alex Fiva, at 35, is the new world champion after beating in the final of Idre Fjall the transalpine Francois Place and the Swede Erik Mobaerg. The three blues in the race: Edoardo Zorzi finished 24th, Simone Deromedis (right on the Swedish track very close to his first podium in CdM a few weeks ago with a 4th place) 31st and Dominik Zuech 33rd.
