The second stage of the World Cup, after the cancellation of the qualifying phase yesterday, will be staged on Saturday and Sunday with the weather improving, after more than 60 cm of snow fell in the transalpine area.

Everything moved to the weekend, to save the first European appointment of the season, after the opening of Secret Garden on the Olympic tracks.
The skicross World Cup, which landed on the mountains of Val Thorens, will remain in the pits this Friday as well: yesterday the qualifications for the races originally scheduled for today and tomorrow were canceled, the four appointments (two male, two female) will be staged ) between Saturday and Sunday, since the weather should give a good hand and therefore the planned reserve day will be exploited.
Up to now, in particular from Wednesday, over 60 cm of fresh snow has fallen on the transalpine resort: it is impossible to guarantee safety on the race track, with the works that will continue in these hours to ensure that the races are regularly staged .
In Val Thorens, six blues are expected on the track: at the male level with Simone Deromedis, Dominik Zuech, Edoardo Zorzi and Yannick Gunsch, among the women with the couple formed by Lucrezia Fantelli and Jole Galli.
