Murada-Felicetti double between the Under 23s, Espoir category that sees Andrea Prandi first and Sebastien Guichardaz third.

The ski mountaineering World Cup has started again with the stage of Verbier / Val des Bagnes, in Switzerland. The first race was the women's Vertical, which recorded the victory among the seniors of the French Axelle Gachet-Mollaret, ahead of the Swiss Maude Mathys and the Swede Tove Alexandersson. Blue double among the espoirs (under 23), with the victory of Giulia Murada and the second place of Giorgia Felicetti. Third was the French Marie Charlotte Iratzoquy. Among the young girls (under 20) the victory went to the German Antonia Niedermaier, ahead of Samantha Bertolina and Lisa Moreschini, for a two-thirds Italian podium. Satisfaction in the youth field also comes from men, with the second place of Matteo Sostizzo among the youngsters to which the success of Andrea Prandi and the third place of Sebastien Guichardaz among the espoirs are added. In the senior category the Swiss Remy Bonnet and the French Axelle Gachet-Mollaret won, the Italians came out of the podium area. Sunday 31 January is scheduled for the second day of competitions with the dispute of the individual races.
