At the press conference of presentation was attended by the Vice President of the Region Sergio Bolzonello, the general manager of Promoturismo Fvg, Marco Tullio Petrangelo, the chairman of the Committee Transcavallo, Svalduz Diego, the manager of the event, Vittorio Romor, as well as the Director of the pole Piancavallo and advisor FISI Enzo Sima.
"The Region - Bolzonello said, as reported by the website of the FISI Friuli Venezia Giulia - is focusing on this sporting event to have a return even in terms of tourism. The World Alpine ski comes just a few days away from the Paralympic world championships held in Tarvisio. Skiing, then, is a very important pawn on the chessboard of the promotion of our territory ".
The alpine skiing World Cup back to Italy after the editions of Cuneo in 2006 and Claut, also in the province of Pordenone, in 2011. The event is expected to attract over 300 athletes from 25 countries including China, Japan, Korea and the United US. The schedule shall provide for the senior category of the ndividuale Alpago Friday, February 24, the race team on Sunday 26 always to Alpago, the sprint on Tuesday 28, the vertical of Wednesday, March 1 and the relay on Thursday 2 in Piancavallo.
