With Fischnaller already out in qualifying, the first PGS of 2022 sees the Trentino again close to his first podium of the season. The female test gave the final surprise, with a fatal slip to Julie Zogg, who said goodbye to the success at home, leaving the way to Sabine Schoeffmann, who returned to win in the CdM after more than 4 years (fourth seal for the Austrian, the first in PGS), with Switzerland also on the third step of the podium with Ladina Jenny, who beat the German Langenhorst in the small final.
Nadya Ochner and Lucia Dalmasso, the two blue who arrived in the knockout phase, went out in the second round.
The World Cup will return on Tuesday 11 and Wednesday 12, with the Austrian stage of Bad Gastein which includes a parallel slalom and a team competition.
