Michela Moioli wants to reopen the World Cup: we leave Reiteralm for the grand finale

After a month's break, qualifying on Thursday and Saturday's race on the Austrian track where the rider from Bergamo triumphed a year ago. There are 93 points to be recovered in Charlotte Bankes with only two tests available; the blue squads.

Finally we leave again, for a snowboard cross World Cup that experienced its last act at the end of January in Cortina, when Michela Moioli triumphed in the pre-Olympic, before experiencing the disappointment of the five-circle race (and redeeming herself with the silver in the team test with Omar Visintin). Reiteralm is the scene of the penultimate round of the season, with the qualification scheduled for Thursday 10 March and the race on the Austrian snow that saw the Italian champion impose his debut last winter, Saturday 12 at 11.00. A very important step in the fight for the crystal ball, which Moioli somehow reopened with the success at home: however, there are 93 points to recover from Charlotte Bankes, dominant up to Cortina, with Chloe Trespeuch in the middle. Then there will be only the final race in Veysonnaz, on March 20, to try to recover the cup that escaped just a year ago in Switzerland in the duel with Eva Samkova. Ten Italians will be at the start in Reiteralm, with the director Cesare Pisoni who has summoned Michela Moioli, Caterina Carpano and Sofia Belingheri for the women's race, Lorenzo Sommariva, Omar Visintin, Tommaso Leoni, Michele Godino, Luca Abbati, Niccolò Colturi and Filippo Ferrari for the men's team.
