Mourning in the world of snowboarding: Ellie Soutter, British by birth but grown up in France, so much as to be the testimonial of Lea Gets, where she lived, died Wednesday in her hometown on the day of her eighteenth birthday, for reasons still unknown.

Ellie grew up in the Rhone-Alpes department of Chablais and although her career led her to compete under the colors of Britain, she remained very fond of her ski resort of the heart where she discovered the pleasure of enjoying the descents on the snow, first on skis and then on the board.

In 2017 he won the bronze for Great Britain at the European Winter Olympic Youth Games and was the British flag bearer at the closing ceremony. She had recently been included in the senior European snowboarding team in the snowboarding European Cup and had been called up for the Junior World Cup scheduled in New Zealand between August and September.
