The national snowboard teams engaged in a week of training: on January 9 the restart of Fischnaller and his companions in Scuol, two weeks later the eagerly awaited debut of the team led by Michela Moioli.

Waiting to finally start the season, on 23-24 January with the races in Chiesa in Valmalenco transformed into the opening of the World Cup, the blue snowboard cross specialists return to Cervinia for five days of work on the snow.
Omar Visintin, Lorenzo Sommariva, Tommaso Leoni, Emanuel Perathoner, Filippo Ferrari, Michele Godino, Francesca Gallina, Raffaella Brutto, Michela Moioli and Sofia Belingheri are called up by the sports director Cesare Pisoni for the meeting scheduled from today until Friday 8 January , with the coaches Luca and Stefano Pozzolini, Riccardo Bagliani and Denis Bellotti following the team.
Livigno will instead be the training venue, again from Monday 4 to Friday 8 January, of the parallel World Cup team with Roland Fischnaller, Aaron March, Mirko Felicetti, Edwin Coratti, Daniele Bagozza, Maurizio Bormolini and Nadya Ochner at work with the technicians Rudy Galli and Matteo Artina, to better prepare the third stage of the World Cup scheduled for the weekend in Scuol, given that on Saturday 9th there will be a PGS on the Swiss snow.
The team of the freesnow slopestyle national team, on the other hand, is in a meeting with Emil Zulian, Nicola Liviero and Emiliano Lauzi, followed by the technicians Filippo Kratter, Alessandro Benussi and Patrick Mazzariol, while Loris Framarin and Alberto Maffei will be busy from Tuesday 5 to Sunday 10 January in Laax, for a training session that will be directed by coach Davide Ceccon.
