Six of the nine finalists of the competition already some halfpipe snowboard at the Winter Universiade in 2013 Trentino come from China. The medals will be awarded tomorrow (Tuesday) on the slopes of Monte Bondone, where this morning there were evidence of qualification. They are still in contention for the semifinals Juan Sun (China), Misa Honda (Japan), Carla Somaini (Switzerland), Audrey McManiman (Canada), Caroline Hoeckel (Switzerland) and , Julia Piaseka (Poland). Already eliminated the'' Italian Greta Felder.
Among males, China has instead had to settle for provisional qualifying with placings of "hilling", with Yi Hu fourth, fifth and Dechao Xu Shiying Huang sixth. With a margin of nearly 8 points on the second, the best was the Spaniard Ruben Verges (90 points) followed by Jae-Won Woo (South Korea) and Mal Prior (USA). '' For the Italian Federico Ghezze, born in 1990 in Cortina d'Ampezzo'''' s admission to the semi-finals is still possible, but needs to improve a lot of his score (29.75).
The shaper is Paul'' s Halfpipe Fazi. The "half-pipe" Bondone has a length of 130 meters and is located between 1,500 and 1,470 meters above sea level.
