The medal 'gold & egrave; was conquered by the Russian quartet formed by Alexey Volkov, Anton Babikov, Aleksandr Pechenkin and Alexey Slepov remained essentially always in command. However, Russia has had to sweat the proverbial seven shirts to be right of the Ukrainians.

Disappointment of the day Belarus, not so much for the result in s & egrave; (Fourth place), as to how & egrave; arrived. The quartet battled on equal terms with Russia and Ukraine for two fractions and saw the podium fade right in the final when Birkeland outpaced Yuri Liadov.
