The announcement of the organic for the 2020/21 season: Wierer and Vittozzi lead a quartet with Carrara and Lardschneider, promoted Bionaz and Giacomel.

There is no shortage of news, in the composition of the blue biathlon teams in view of the next competitive year. Technical director Fabrizio Curtaz and the manager in charge of team A, Andreas Zingerle, will lead decidedly renewed groups. The women's reference group, according to what was announced this morning by FISI, no longer counts on Federica Sanfilippo, "moved" to the new team of "Observed" directed by Alexander Inderst, together with Nicole Gontier and Samuela Comola. In team A here are the two stars, Dorothea Wierer and Lisa Vittozzi, together with the young Irene Lardschneider and Michela Carrara. Among the men, however, with Lukas Hofer and Dominik Windisch there are four young men: we are talking about Tommaso Giacomel and Didier Bionaz, capable of making their debut in the World Cup at the end of last season, as well as Daniele Cappellari and Patrick Braunhofer. Four athletes, on the other hand, are among the Observed: Thomas Bormolini and Giuseppe Montello end up on this list, the latter returning from a year essentially lost due to injury, but also Saverio Zini and Mattia Nicase.
