The winner of the World Cup was received by Sergey Razov at Villa Abamelek, in Rome, on the occasion of "Day of Russia"

We all know how much Dorothea Wierer is appreciated and known abroad and, in particular, in a country that follows biathlon, or Russia, with great passion. Already present in Rome on the occasion of the meeting with the Italian government at Palazzo Chigi, the lighthouse of the blue movement was thus invited to the residence of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation in Italy, Sergey Razov, guest of the reception offered for the national holiday that recalls the adoption of the Declaration of State Sovereignty of the Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic, of 12 June 1990. In one of the most majestic Roman villas, on the Janiculum hill a few steps from Porta San Pancrazio, the annual celebration was renewed which was attended by a selected audience of diplomats, politicians, entrepreneurs, military, religious and public figures. Among these, also the bearer of the Yellow Flames, accompanied for the occasion by the Commander of the Sports Center of the Guardia di Finanza, Gen.B. Vincenzo Parrinello. "The invitation of Ambassador Razov honors me and fills me with pride - declared Dorothea at the end of the reception - I thank everyone for the wonderful welcome and for the memorable event in which I had the opportunity to take part. I clasped the Ambassador's hand to thank him for the invitation and, in doing so, I ideally greeted and thanked all the Russian fans who follow the wonderful sport that is biathlon. I wait for them at the next World Cup in Anterselva ”.
