The calls for the biathlon world championships have been officialized: 5 women and 5 men with many medal chances, starting with the mixed relay that will open the program.

Here they are, the ten blue names for the world championship event in Pokljuka, the heart of a biathlon season that will have its highlight in Slovenia.
No surprise in the choices of the director Fabrizio Curtaz, made official in the evening by the FISI home: Wednesday 10 February will begin with the mixed relay that, last year, saw Italy as great protagonist fighting with Norway for the title until the last polygon, conquering a truly beautiful silver. The first of Dorothea Wierer's four medals, clearly the lighthouse of the movement also for Pokljuka 2021.
The South Tyrolean champion will compete with Lisa Vittozzi, Michela Carrara, Irene Lardschneider and Federica Sanfilippo, as well as five men chosen for the world championship. A Lukas Hofer in great shape, Dominik Windisch who has a certain feeling with the World Cup, Thomas Bormolini (who is experiencing a splendid season) and the two terrible youngsters, Tommaso Giacomel and Didier Bionaz, making their debut in an event of this magnitude.
