For Dorothea Wierer, the first world confrontation with Tiril Eckhoff, with the fraction ended in 2nd place in a matter of seconds by the Norwegian: “We knew it would be very difficult to beat them, I did two refills and it was not optimal, but I'm obviously very happy of the final result ". Lukas Hofer won an amazing third fraction, dueling with Tarjei Boe: “It's a phenomenal second place, here at home ... it's super. We couldn't have started better ”, echoes the host Dominik Windisch, who held the rhythm of Johannes Boe for two laps, even making the title dream. "If I thought about gold? Yes, I believed it and I tried everything for everything, then those two mistakes on my feet luckily didn't cost a medal that is splendid ".
