Today were the 'Ibu has formalized the resort & agrave; candidate to host the World Cup biathlon in 2020 and 2021. For Anterselva, in the running for both editions, the opponents come from Germany, Slovenia, Czech Republic and Russia.

These are in the running for world championship events facilities:

WORLD 2021ANTERSELVA (Italy) NOVE MESTO (Czech Republic) OBERHOF (Germany) POKLJUKA (Slovenia) Tyumen (Russia)
So, as you can memorize options note, four countries applying for both years. One exception Tyumen, which concorrer & agrave; exclusively to gain 'of 2021 event.
No surprises in the pretenders. Oberhof and Pokljuka make long campaign, cos & igrave; as Antholz. Less flashy Nove Mesto, which however has started working well in advance. Conversely Tyumen has only opted for top-minute addition to the lot of competitors.
Antholz will try & agrave; to get his sixth World after those organized in 1975, 1976, 1983, 1995 and 2007.
They go hunting for the second event standings instead Pokljuka (gi & agrave; theater dell''edizione 2001), Oberhof (2004) and Nove Mesto na Morave (2013).
Tyumen its part it has never hosted events of the main circuit and will see & agrave; the World Cup for the first time next year.
Antholz and Nove Mesto are from a failed application. Had competition for the 'Edition 2019, went instead to & ouml; stersund. The 'Swedish plant picked up 27 votes, against 16 for the South Tyrolean and 4 of the Bohemian.
The 'Ibu will assign & agrave; the World Cup in 2020 and those in 2021 during the conference in Chisinau, in dall''1 program to 4 September 2016.
