A week at the Antholz World Cup for the 68-year-old German tourist affected by Coronavirus

The newspaper "Dolomiten" reports the news: from 17 to 23 February, husband and wife stayed in Val Pusteria to experience the world championship biathlon event.

An alarm that could further involve the world of sport and in particular that of biathlon, which already in Nove Mesto will experience a very special four-day World Cup, with no audience present at the stage in the Czech Republic for the Coronavirus cases that also arrived in the east country. A 68-year-old German tourist, who tested positive in Covid-19 as well as his wife, followed the biathlon world championships in Anterselva for a whole week: today the newspaper "Dolomiten" reports it, according to the work done by the health department of Lower Saxony, underlining how the group of 46 tourists stayed in Monguelfo, in the Val Pusteria, from 17 to 23 February. Positivity was found a week after returning to Germany, in Uetze; now travel companions, as well as people who have been in contact with the subject in the Monguelfo pension will be subjected to the swab. Between shuttle buses that took them to the Anterselva biathlon center and obviously all those present in the South Tyrolean stadium, it will clearly be impossible to trace all the other contacts that had in that week.
