Nice third place for Stefy Constantini's Team Almaviva at the Sundbyberg Open

Curling: another great result arrives in Sweden for the Ampezzo women, with an amazing comeback in the final valid for the podium.

A good third place at the Sundbyberg Open, for Team Almaviva led by Stefania Constantini. After the defeat in the semifinals against the home favorites led by Anna Hasselbörg (gold at PyeongChang 2018), three of them went down on the ice, the Italians win against the Scottish Henderson. It is the third time that the Ampezzo team, made up of Stefania Constantini, Angela Romei, Marta Lo Deserto, Giulia Lacedelli Zardini, closes this season in the top four positions, including the title won at Swift Current, Canada. Too bad because the blue in the semifinals had started 3-1 ahead, thanks to the hand stolen by 2 points in the third end. After the following three halves were sold, Team Constantini scored another point without having the last stone, forcing the challenge to the extra end, before losing 6-5. In the final for the third place, the comeback of the tricolor quartet was incredible: under 8-4 at the sixth end, Stefania and her companions drew with the four stones of the seventh and in the eighth they completed the work with the stolen hand of the definitive 9-8.
