Biography: Estelle Alphand, born on 23 April 1995 in Briançon, France, is a Franco-Swedish alpine skier competing for Sweden since 2018. Daughter of Luc Alphand, she won four medals at the 2012 Winter Youth Olympic Games: gold in the super-G, silver in giant slalom and super combined, and bronze in the mixed team event. After early seasons representing France, she switched to Sweden and achieved her best World Cup result with 5th place in the 2017 Lienz slalom. At the 2021 World Championships she claimed the team event silver and in 2025 the bronze. Alphand competes in all alpine disciplines but is particularly valued for her versatility and adaptability.
