Waiting to finally start a European Cup for which we will have to wait for the opening super-g in Sankt Moritz, next 8-9 December, the young blue of the continental group and the junior category are getting ready in Pfelders, where the first seasonal races of the Italian GP are also scheduled.
To triumph in the inaugural giant on the South Tyrolean snows, however, was the one who remained out of the blue lap at the end of last season: confirming a really full speed restart, since the first races in Solda, Carlotta Saracco also dominated today's challenge between the wide doors. The Piedmontese born in 1999, already in the lead after the first heat with 19 hundredths of a margin over Karoline Pichler, at the end preceded the South Tyrolean by 56 cents, with Roberta Midali in third position at 92.
Fourth place for Sophie Mathiou and fifth for Alessia Guerinoni, while Valentina Cillara Rossi had to settle for seventh place. And on Friday in Pfelders the two women's and men's slaloms will be staged.
