Anna Veith climbs the Dolomites: last days of relaxation before putting on your skis and trying yet another return

A champion who has always loved Italy and climbed the mountains around Cortina to recharge his batteries thinking about the new season.

Anna Veith got married in South Tyrol, three years ago with her Manuel, she spent several holidays in various parts of the peninsula and has now chosen to climb the Dolomites, before putting her skis back on. The 30-year-old from Salzburg is back from the umpteenth injury of a career that for almost 4 years (after the shock of October 2015, when her right knee was completely destroyed a few days after the opening of Solden) is totally conditioned by trouble physicists, the last of whom happened on the Italian snows of Pozza di Fassa, training last January with the breaking of the crusader of the same right knee. Anna has chosen the Pale Mountains to climb in the company of friends and enjoy the last moments of relaxation, alternating with rehabilitation and obviously ad hoc preparation before returning to the snow. The timing is not yet very clear, although it is unlikely to see the two times winner of the crystal ball in Solden, on October 26th. We talk about the end of August for the first ski outings, thus skipping the rallies that the Austrian sprinters will perform at the Stelvio in the next few days, and then move to Saas Fee, as well as obviously the South American trip that sees the gigantistas leaving already the next 8 August direction Ushuaia.
