Blue to the onslaught of the parallel, Marta Rossetti also tries: "Yes, the goal is the final phase"

Tomorrow in Lech / Zuers the debut of the Brescia player in the discipline: "Too bad for Levi's second race, but we worked well for Thursday's race".

In the Italdonne that will go to the assault of the first and only parallel of the World Cup season, there will also be several of the slalomists protagonists last weekend in Levi. Among these also Marta Rossetti, at her absolute debut in the PGS which will be proposed in Lech / Zuers on Thursday, starting at 10.00 with the qualification that will lead to the final phase, reduced to only 16 athletes and scheduled for 17.45. For the 21-year-old from Garda, the two Finnish slaloms are already behind her, with a 29th place and the failure to qualify for the 2nd heat of race 2 that certainly did not satisfy her. "The first day I was happy to have qualified and to have obtained points - explains Marta - The Levi track is a slope where you have to push a lot both above and in the final link, obviously I didn't do it enough in the second race". New race, new format now: “The skis to use are the giant ones because the distance of the gates varies from 16 to 20 meters, and in the training we tried several pairs. That's why we also did a lot of training on the giant; surely it will be fun, for me it is the first time in a parallel of the World Cup and I really want to access the finals in the afternoon. The last two days of training (the blues got ready for Diavolezza, ed) were very good, we tried different technical and tactical situations, without parallel direct challenges as in the race so as not to risk hurting us unnecessarily. And we tried a lot the start which is a fundamental moment in this discipline ”.
