Women's cup calendar? In December it should change again with the two giants in Courchevel

Ski Chrono reports on a new proposal from FIS: double super-g in Sankt Moritz on 5-6 December before the two races between the wide doors on the Stade Emile-Allais.

A continuous shuffling of papers, to adapt economic, organizational and above all related to the Covid situation and all the protocols to be respected. The calendar of the 2020/21 World Cup changes its face, especially as regards the period up to the end of the calendar year, waiting for the final draft on October 1st. Already tomorrow, Wednesday 16 September, according to what has been learned from Ski Chrono, the direction of the women's circuit will propose to the FIS a month of December with further changes compared to the latest news that saw Courchevel return to only one giant in the program, preceded by the fast races of Sankt Moritz . Here instead we go to two super-gs in the Engadine town (instead of a descent and a super-g, while the parallel is already out of the game), on the weekend of 5-6 December, with the possibility then to propose a double giant on the Stade Emile-Allais of the Savoyard town, which last year saw Federica Brignone triumph. In Courchevel then two tests between the wide doors on Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 December, then it will remain in France with the triptych of races in Val d''Isère from 18 to 20 December. On the Oreiller-Killy there is nothing combined and a menu that includes two runs and a super-g.
