The former German slalomist, who left the competition at 30 years old, has made official the good news today.

Like Hanna Schnarf a few weeks ago, another ex-World Cup skier is expecting a child.
Just four months after retiring, announced last March 15 after a career that saw her achieve two podiums in the World Cup in a decade and that junior slalom world title that had given hope for a great path in the white circus, today through social media Christina Ackermann has made it known that she is expecting a son from her husband Marvin, a former skier married in May 2019.
The eldest son of the family was announced by publishing a photo of the couple and a pair of baby shoes: "It's time for a new adventure," wrote the beautiful Christina giving news.
