Elena Fanchini, who fell last Tuesday in Copper Mountain during a training session in super-G and returned yesterday to Italy, was submitted today to a series of clinical tests at the "Città di Brescia" clinic by Dr. Giacomo Stefani.

These findings confirmed the fracture of the lateral tibial plateau of the left leg, the lateral capsule-ligamentous lesion of the collateral ligament of the left knee, the fracture of the left fibula head, the fracture of the base of the first metacarpus of the left hand, while it remains to be evaluated the possible injury of the cruciate ligament always of the left knee. The unfortunate Brescian skier will be operated on Wednesday.
