Ilka Stuhec plans the season with a new staff and the goal of returning immediately to win

Coach Janez Gril and physiotherapist David Kukovec join the personal team of the two downhill world champions

Ilka Stuhec has decided to make further changes, within the staff that will follow the Slovenian champion in the 2019/2020 season. As is known, the 28-year-old from Slovenj Gradec trains outside of federal programs, but after the recovery phase following the last knee injury suffered in Crans Montana, it was faster than expected as there was no need for a '' surgical operation (Stuhec should return to skiing between July and August), will do so with a largely renewed group. Already weeks ago, Ilka and mother Darja had decided to separate from coach Grega Kostomaj and the trainer Anja Sesum. Now it has been announced the entry of two new members into the team: it is the physiotherapist David Kukovec and the technician Janez Gril, but the name of the head coach is not yet known. The target? Quite simply, to return immediately to win since the first weekend of fast races in Lake Louise, given that in a season without World Cups and Olympics, the goal is to return to conquer that World Cup downhill conquered at the end of the 2016 season / 17.
