In Austria the Liensberger case explodes: you want Kastle (it would be a great return), the federation is opposed

Katharina Liensberger had already talked about herself not only for the first great results in the World Cup, with a podium adjoining the slalom last January in Flachau, but also for the sudden and "questionable" changes, linked to the staff following the 22 year old of Vorarlberg. Now, around the slalomgigantist that probably represents the greatest hope for Austria to obtain great results at a female level in the technical specialties, a real case has exploded; as reported by ORF Vorarlberg, Liensberger entered on a collision course with his federation. In fact, the OSV has a number of companies supplying materials in its "menu", but Kastle, an Austrian company that would like to return to the white circus with Katharina, who would leave Rossignol to compete with a brand that would not , between the 80s and 90s, he supported champions like Pirmin Zurbriggen and Kjetil AndrÃ¨ Aamodt. Liensberger has already trained in New Zealand and during the summer with Kastle skis, which however do not include boots and bindings and, after the mid-August deadline, the athlete has not signed supply contracts with federation-related brands ; in order to compete, in fact, the '97 class will have to conclude an agreement with a partner of Austria Ski Pool, otherwise already the onset of Solden on 26 October would be at risk. Liensberger herself confirmed that she had tested new materials without wanting to comment further, but acknowledging that this is an "unclear situation".
