Pending the calendars that the FIS will announce at the beginning of June, the South Tyrolean town is already certain of its location. Worley the last winner, but always with a lot of blue.

It will be the fifth time for what is becoming a great classic, perhaps already the most loved and at the same time feared giant by athletes.
The "Erta" of Kronplatz will host the Women's World Cup also in the 2021/22 season: the FIS will formalize the calendars in the next spring congress in early June (with some important changes expected from the drafts), but at "Moelgg's house" there is 'it is already certain that in the course of the next cup, just before the Olympic Games in Beijing and just after the fast races in Cortina, there will be the giant set for the date of Tuesday 25 January 2022.
The organizing committee then announced, through the official event poster, a race that follows the editions of 2017, 2018 and 2019 and last January 26, 2021, when Tessa Worley triumphed in front of Lara Gut-Behrami and the comeback Marta Bassino . There is a lot of blue in the background; over four years ago, the adventure of the "Erta" in the maximum circuit began with the victory of Federica Brignone and Marta Bassino who finished in third place, before the seal of Viktoria Rebensburg in 2018 (with Brignone herself on the podium) and the domination of Mikaela Shiffrin in 2019, with Bassino again third.
