Another success for the Italian organization and a women's World Cup calendar which, while waiting to understand where the giant canceled in Semmering will end up, goes to recover a race that could be fundamental in the race for the crystal ball.
Val di Fassa will host the second super-g canceled in Sankt Moritz on 6 December (the first has already been rescheduled in Crans-Montana, on 24 January), for a spectacular speed triptych on the splendid "La VolatA" at Passo San Pellegrino, from 26 to 28 February.
Immediately after the conclusion of the Cortina World Championships, the two tests will begin on Wednesday 24 and Thursday 25 February, then downhill and double super-g from Friday to Sunday, with the race time always set at 11.00. Recalling that the Fassa organization had in fact brought home the planned descent and super-g, also on the dates of 27 and 28 February, on the Chinese snows of Yanqing, with the pre-Olympic canceled due to travel restrictions to China.
