Verena Gasslitter could represent a nice extra arrow, in the arc of the Italdonne that is starting towards the 2019/2020 season.
Finally, even the athlete from Castelrotto can prepare with his companions without experiencing any problems, after the umpteenth stop immediately with the fracture of the tibia of the left leg. Back on skis in December, Gasslitter can't wait to be able to wear a bib again in the World Cup, who knows perhaps in that Lake Louise that he saw her as protagonist for the last time in the maximum circuit, for fast races Canadians in December 2016 that left her with more scars, with the injury of the left knee crusader on the last jump of the super-g.

Gasslitter was "helped a lot by family, friends and teammates", to overcome an authentic story of suffering and pain, which finally seems to be behind her. The dry training sessions are essential to strengthen the weak points of the leg, "but now there is the confidence of being able to resume racing by the end of the year".
Going back to Lake Louise would mean defeating fate.
