In this sense, it will be a fundamental period also and above all for Sofia Goggia, who began the collaboration with the new skiman Barnaba Greppi: a highly experienced professional, for many years also alongside Lara Gut in the golden years, who the Olympic downhill champion has officially "presented", after the announcement already arrived from FISI in recent weeks. “It is no longer news, but personally I had never yet expressed my opinion on this - Sofia said via social media - From this season my skiman will be Barnaba Greppi, from Bergamo like me. A wise man for a mad horse ... ".
In addition to welcoming him to the team, the Italian thanked Federico Brunelli, the Aosta Valley skiman who lived “five beautiful and intense years, in which we enjoyed great satisfaction starting from very, very far away. Thanks for everything, "said Goggia, who will obviously continue with Atomic materials (the new contract, signed in 2019, is valid until 2022).
After the difficulties of the past season, after which Sofia had also confessed that she had even thought about retiring, there is a great desire on the part of Bergamo to find that "smile on the snow" essential to go fast, since she herself has always argued that the mind goes hand in hand with technical stability.
