Vlhova happy with his 6th place in super-g in Val d''Isère. And Magoni has a program of attack ready

The cup leader, in the fifth race in the discipline, repeated herself after having already touched the podium in La Thuile. From Wednesday triple slalom training to get closer to Semmering and Zagreb, but he will also do all the fast races in January.

“The two descents didn't go very well, but I have to get used to competing in this discipline, while I think the super-g went very well. I am satisfied with 6th place ”. Words of Petra Vlhova after the excellent closing of a weekend of not easy speed in Val d''Isère, for the one who leads the general classification of the World Cup, now again with a decent margin on Gisin, the three top blue and Mikaela Shiffrin. Livio Magoni often repeats: “It will be a good fight”, but it is certain that if the Slovak champion will be able to confirm herself at these levels in a third discipline, she will put a really good brick to stay up front until the end. Suffice it to say that on Oreiller-Killy, Petra only played her fifth super-g in CdM, taking another 6th place after that of Bansko and 4th of La Thuile, the last race of last season. A very high level performance, but now Team Vlhova must already think about returning to devote itself to technical disciplines: the two Semmering races (28-29 December with giant and slalom) will in fact be crucial and, after a couple of "quiet" days in the base of Vipiteno, from Wednesday until Christmas day itself, Magoni and his staff will prepare a job, on the snows of Ladurns, dedicated exclusively to the slalom that the Slovak practiced shortly after Levi's double.
