If most of the national Alpine skiing teams are choosing Italian resorts to concentrate their training this winter, there will be a reason.
Preparation of exceptional slopes and the possibility of welcoming athletes and staff to the fullest. The French women's national team, however, has chosen a location that many fans will know, but it is not among the absolute references considering its logistical position. We are talking about San Domenico di Varzo, in the Divedro valley, the heart of Ossola and the area that the champion of those mountains, Max Blardone, has attended for many years.
An enchanting place that saw Tessa and Worley work for two days, earlier this week, in preparation for the Crans-Montana races as regards transalpine sprinters, namely Tiffany Gauthier, Jennifer Piot and Laura Gauche, while the two times world champion of giant she trained in super-g with her colleagues to return to play this discipline in the World Cup in the following weekend, on February 29th in La Thuile.
