The Swiss speed team, as well as many working groups of the national teams, was forced to fall back on reduced summer work, to be carried out on the slopes of Zermatt and Saas Fee in the middle weeks of August.
As explained by the manager, Beat Tschour, the Chilean resort of La Parva, which was supposed to host the training sessions of Corinne Suter, Michelle Gisin and Jasmine Flury, is certainly not experiencing the best period in terms of snow, far from it; this is why we will continue with the training on European glaciers, while the Swiss slalomgigantist colleagues will move to Ushuaia at the beginning of September where, instead, there is plenty of snow and from the next few days the work of the Austrian giant-women led by Eva-Maria will begin Brem and Stephanie Brunner.
