In Sappada the big party for Emanuele Buzzi: "My fans are so special: I want to go back up for them too"

Behind Dominik Paris and together with Christof Innerhofer and Peter Fill, he is the most awaited man in the blue speed scene.

Emanuele Buzzi has already resumed training at full speed on the occasion of the transfer to Ushuaia, to which the 24-year-old from Sappada managed to participate despite being still in the recovery phase, after the serious injury he suffered in Wengen on 19 January last. Two weeks after his return from Argentina, Lele celebrated in his country with the fans who have always followed him; the children of the "Emanuele Buzzi Official Fan Club" organized an afternoon in the company of their champion, at the Ristorante Mondschein in the heart of Sappada. A toast, a lot of talk in the company and the opening of memberships to the fan club for the 2019/2020 season, already dreaming of important results starting from the debut in speed, scheduled for November 30th with the descent of Lake Louise. In fact, Buzzi himself did not hide from the short-medium term objectives: "First of all, I want to particularly thank Stefano Kratter (head of the fan club, ed) for this occasion to meet friends and fans. Feeling this affection is a beautiful thing and it is very important to increase trust and determination; Stefano and the other guys are already organizing the trips to Gardena and Kitzbuehel, I have special fans and I want to go back to the top right away for them too. Next season I ask you to start from where I left, or from that beautiful and at the same time bitter 6th place of Wengen, my best position in the World Cup, ruined by the accident that stopped me on the most beautiful. First of all, I want constant performance: before a result, the result of so many variables, it is fundamental to be constantly up there. I'm working hard to succeed and the long recovery is almost complete, I just need to recover confidence in some situations, it's inevitable after a serious injury ". The trip to Argentina satisfied the blue downhill skier, but not 100%: "We worked a lot, but we lacked some quality because it snowed a lot and we had to readjust the programs. I'm still happy with what we've done. Wednesday I will be at the Mapei center in Olgiate Olona for a series of athletic tests, then if all goes well there will be a meeting at the Stelvio. The Lake Louise races are approaching and in early November there will be a trip to North America for another long period of preparation for the debut ".
