Amnéville, it's too hot to ski in the ski dome: training for French slalomists canceled

Noel and his companions were supposed to train at the plant in Lorraine next weekend. Chastan: "Difficult conditions for a good job, let's go back to the glacier".

There are several athletes who are exploiting the ski domes in various parts of Europe in this period, from Petra Vlhova in Lithuania to Kilde in Oslo up to the Azzurri in Landgraaf, in the Netherlands, since there is a lot of "traffic" starting from the Stelvio and passing through Zermatt and Saas-Fee, very popular in this period. However, there are problems to manage also in the indoor facilities and it is news in the past few hours, reported by Ski Chrono, that the French slalom national team, led by Simone Del Dio, will not be able to train next weekend in the Amnéville facility, in Lorraine region. "It is too hot and the coolers have problems to guarantee a good working condition - said the director of the transalpine men's teams, David Chastan - Maybe we will be back by the end of August". Noel and his companions (who had tested the Passy simulator, an indoor ski in the heart of the Savoy Alps, in the photo in the past few weeks), but also the gigantists Muffat-Jeandet, Favrot and Anguenot who should have joined their teammates for a three-day indoor training, they should thus return to the glacier, probably in Les Deux Alpes, after training on the Matterhorn at the end of July. Then in September we will return to the original program, which no longer provides for a trip to Argentina, based in Saas-Fee to get closer to the opening in Soelden.
