Even Alex Vinatzer in the Red Bull team, a great support for the 20-year-old Gardena: "Grato e felice"

An important innovation for the most awaited man in the Italian slalom, who is training with his teammates in Ushuaia.

It is news of the last hours, in fact, the entry of Alex Vinatzer in the Red Bull stable, among the hundreds of athletes supported by the colossus of energy drinks made in Austria. "Grateful and happy for this new partnership of mine", the ''99 Gardenese (who will turn 20 on September 22nd) through social media, has announced the agreement that could be very useful, considering the specialized centers and all the logistics that accompanies it athletes linked to that brand. In the case of the blue points of the movement, the examples of Dominik Paris and Sofia Goggia are enough, even if the Vinatzer route will still have to pass through various steps; last season was fundamental for the junior world champion who, in addition to the world title won in February in Val di Fassa, played his first full World Cup vintage, after the two tasting races in 2017 / 18 and the (surprise) participation in the PyeongChang Olympic Games. Ten races and a good test in the slalom of the world championships in Are (19th final place), with the best result obtained at the World Cup finals in Soldeu with a 15th place very useful to consolidate the placement in the top 30 of the WCSL, which in view of the first specialty competition in Levi (next 24 November) will mean starting with bib number 27 (considering the retreats of Hirscher and Neureuther). It was enough the 1st round of Campiglio (8th place), confirmed then by various flashes, as in Schladming, alternating clearly with some error, to understand that the fabric was already there. And that the growth of the talent of the blue slalom is only a matter of time.
