Even Hannes Reichelt, like so many colleagues from the ski world who had the same joy, became a father for the first time. Last Monday, his wife Larissa Hofer, a South Tyrolean from Solda and a former Italian national team, married in 2016, gave birth to Niklas. Mom and baby are fine, as confirmed by the same Wunderteam sprinter on social media.
"We could not be happier with this marvel - the words of Reichelt - Our family is expanding in this splendid spring". The world super-g champion at Beaver Creek 2015 had already talked about his competitive future in the season finale, confirming that he had every intention of continuing his career. Maybe for another couple of years: "Yes, I would like to continue if I feel good and I will still be able to compete at a high level." At almost 39 years (it will be in July) a really big challenge for one of the most classy sprinters of the circuit.
