Justin Murisier is ready to face a new challenge, that of returning to the race after a hard injury, very hard as a crusader.
The Martigny-born class '92 is now used to it, if we think that on 26 August 2018, falling during a giant training session in New Zealand, the same knee was injured for the third time (after the stops at between 2011 and 2012, when it practically lost the first two post-World Cup seasons).
This time it was even more complicated than usual, with significant damage to the cartilage, but after fourteen months in the pits, on October 27th Murisier should be ready to wear a bib in the Cup, to debut in the new season with the Solden giant ( trusting that it will not be canceled for the third consecutive year ...).
A lot of gym still alternated to the physiotherapy for the unfortunate Justin, who in the second part of the summer should put his skis back on and understand, in the following months, if the sensations will be the same as before the injury, when the Swiss was capable of his best season in the World Cup; in the Olympic vintage, he had in fact finished in the 7th place and in the first group the ranking of specialties in giant, taking a 4th place in Alta Badia (his best career result together with the same placement in combined, a year before in Santa Caterina Valfurva) and a 5th in Beaver Creek, while in 2016/17 the good Murisier had missed the medals in the home world championship in Sankt Moritz, with the 6th place in combined and the 8th in giant. Now it's called to the nth renaissance.
