Reichelt has been linked to the former Austrian cross-country technician, Gerald H., as an acquaintance of his since school days and with whom he collaborated on his training plans. "All the doping controls in my career have been negative and I have never missed a test. I have always practiced a clean sport, being careful also with cough candies. I have every intention of collaborating to prove my innocence, I really have nothing to hide â€.
On the future, the veteran of the Austrian national team is also worried about the timing: "We do not know how long this business will last, I should concentrate on skiing and prepare for the next season, without always having this story in mind, but it is difficult ...", the bitter words of Reichelt, who at almost 39 years had already decided in recent weeks to continue his career probably for another couple of years.
Also colleagues, questioned on the subject, defended the team mate with a sword: "I cannot imagine that Hannes has done anything in this direction and I am sure that we are all convinced of his innocence," said Marco Schwarz. "For us it was a shock to read the news - the words of Matthias Mayer - We are all with him".
