Anticipating the official status of the FIS in the context of the meetings that are taking place in these hours, Chamonix has already revealed what will be the program of races that the location in the shadow of Mont Blanc will host in the next World Cup season .
No return of the legendary descent on the Verte des Houches, as initially foreseen, but precisely because of the need to group trials of a single discipline in the same location, the International Federation has assigned two slaloms to the French organization, on the dates of 30 and January 31. "For the descent the appointment has only been postponed, but we are satisfied to have two great races", let the local organizing committee know, which last year hosted the slalom won by Clément Noel and the controversial parallel giant that saw a smile Loic Meillard.
The transalpine slalom ace himself spoke of the "double" in Chamonix with great enthusiasm: "It is super news, this will become our stage since we will not have the slalom in Val d''Isère (where two giants will be held, ed) - the words of Noel - I have wonderful memories of the race won here and of the audience present, even if today we don't know if it will be possible to have him by our side also in the next edition ”.
