Kristoffersen already works 100% between bike and gym: from August he will be serious on the track

The Norwegian, who injured his left ankle three weeks ago, recovered without problems and prepares training in the snow in the style of ... Hirscher.

He will turn 26 on July 2nd and will be able to celebrate by training without problems, after having breathed a sigh of relief. On June 8, Henrik Kristoffersen had injured his left ankle and was afraid, at first, that the stop could be long enough in a crucial period of athletic preparation; the ligaments of the joint, however, were only stretched and the diagnosis of a few weeks of narrow gauge led the Norwegian champion to return to work early. Just a few days after the crash, HK94 was sweating by bicycle and now travels 100% towards the return on the snow. Despite having lost the whole spring period due to lockdown, the choice is always the same and follows what Marcel Hirscher did, especially in the last seasons of his career: Kristoffersen took example from his great rival to do a great physical job before going on track practically in August, to put a few days of skiing in the legs in pre-season, but with great quality. Henrik should start again from the Swiss glaciers, with Zermatt and Saas-Fee on the menu, after returning to Austria and "his" Salzburg, where he bought a house and is the basis for most of the year.
