The 20-year-old Norwegian, first winner of the season in Soelden, returned to Norway with his "twin" McGrath after their respective knee injuries. And his words are never banal, all to be read.

He exalted us with his Brazilian dance in the second heat of the Soelden giant, when he enchanted to go and take the first triumph of his career.
At the age of 20, Lucas Braathen entered the hearts of many fans, never mind if the races following the opening on the Rettenbach did not go the same way. And just on the day when he had found certain automatisms, Friday in the first giant of Adelboden, the terrible injury that ended his season meant that the skiing people tightened even more around the Norwegian class of 2000 with South American blood. Braathen left Switzerland together with his partner and friend Atle Lie McGrath, who was also injured two days ago (with some less damage, even if the weeks off will not be few for the other Norwegian phenomenon) and returned to Norway, awaiting surgery for his cruciate injury and the long recovery that awaits him.
Before, however, he wrote a beautiful message to fans and enthusiasts that says a lot about his spirit and how, it is a certainty, we will find him with that same “free” mentality when he returns to the race. “This season has brought me many firsts - writes“ Pinheiro ”on social media - First red bib, podium and victory, but last and not least my first injury ever. It was an unforgettable season, with the best days of my life. Achieve my childhood dreams and watch my friends do the same; we win and we lose together, literally.
