A second collection opened by one of the greatest champions of Italian sport.
Only today, Saturday 13 February with SportWeek, the book by Simone Battaggia dedicated to Alberto Tomba will be given away; the first release of "The Myths of Sport 2", the new series of agile volumes in an unprecedented and easy-to-read format, to learn about everything from childhood to career highlights, from life off the slopes to triumphs unforgettable, of the myths that have written the history of sport starting from the Bolognese champion three times Olympic champion.
All enriched by numbers, quotes and an archive section dedicated to the articles and pages of “La Gazzetta dello Sport” which celebrated its most important victories. Tomba's book traces his entire career, from the race-exhibition on the "Montagnetta" of San Siro in 1984 to the 50th and last success in the World Cup in Crans-Montana in March 1998, passing through all the Olympic medals and world championships, in addition of course to the 1995 crystal ball.
